PLC Magazine carries articles that deal with legal areas of interest to business lawyers advising companies active in the UK.
We have a flexible method of commissioning: where appropriate, we approach leading practitioners to ask them to cover a particular legal development, but we also welcome proposals for articles.
If you are interested in contributing to PLC Magazine, please contact us with a short summary of the key areas you propose to cover in the article.
If we think the article sounds suitable for PLC Magazine, we will then discuss with you:
Which type of article might suit the subject matter best (so, for example, a short news brief (www.practicallaw.com/8-101-3578), which deals with a particular legal development, or a longer feature article (www.practicallaw.com/8-101-3578) which looks at a subject area in more depth).
The deadline for your submission.
The word count and some style guidelines for that particular type of piece, along with our editorial principles.
Once we have received an article, we format it in our house style and suggest alterations so that the article conforms to our editorial principles. We send the edited version to you for comment, and then, having incorporated your comments, we send you a final version for your approval.
