In the context of employment law, a procedure whereby a party to a claim (www.practicallaw.com/1-200-3020) may apply to an employment tribunal (www.practicallaw.com/9-200-2984) to request that a decision of the tribunal be reviewed on certain specified grounds. Reviews are intended to correct specific errors or to deal with evidence that has only become available since the original tribunal hearing. The tribunal can confirm, vary or revoke its original decision following a review.
