Detailed assessment

The assessment of a party’s costs (www.practicallaw.com/9-205-5109), usually at the conclusion of proceedings or, as the CPR define it, “the procedure by which the amount of costs [of a party] is decided by a costs officer in accordance with Part 47” (CPR 44.1).
